Whether you’re new to blogging—or an old hand—or just thinking about writing a blog, here is some great input to help you do it better.
- Everything a good post should contain.
- Using all kinds of visuals other than photographs to illustrate your blog.
- I assume if you write a blog, you read blogs. Do you respond to posts? I am stymied when blogs don’t have a like button—I at least want to click like when I enjoy a post. I’ll even click like if I follow the blog but don’t strongly care about a particular post, just because I want the blogger to know I was there. And if I have time (I have to limit my blog visits because I could read all day and never write), I will comment if I have something to add or to praise. Writers appreciate affirmation. They love to know that the piece they poured hours of their life into resonated with a reader. How to be a better commenter.
- Have you run out of ideas for posts?
- Agree to disagree.
- Devise an editorial schedule.
- I repost some of my blog posts on Medium.com. You could blog there, too. Some Medium start-up strategies.
- Recycle some of your best content.
- Become a more successful blogger.
- How to use your time more efficiently.
- You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Follow insightful advice.
- Everything you ever wanted to know about blogging etiquette.
