OctPoWriMo Day 6

Today is National Poetry Day!

I am participating in a challenge to write a poem a day in October, but I’ve missed a few days. Here is my offering for today’s prompt, tantalizing:

Desire, coveteousness.
Tantalizing temptation, anticipation.
Expectation, attainment. Distaste, disappointment.
Sickening realization. Repulsion.
Regretable sorrow.
