A freelance writer in the 1990s, her nonfiction articles and book reviews appeared in Raising Arizona Kids, Christian Library Journal, and other publications. She is currently working on a young adult mystical fantasy novel and a mystery.

    • Thanks, Betty. That’s what Greg said, too. It’s not supposed to be me, though the piano looks a lot like the one I learned on. The picture is based on one of Shel Silverstein’s illustrations for A Light in the Attic, as are some of the other drawings I’ve made for Inktober this year.
