For this challenge, I am posting photos I took on a short visit to Sedona, Arizona, my husband and I took in October, 2008. Sedona is well-known for its beautiful red rock formations. We stayed at the beautiful Penrose B&B. Here is a view from our balcony:
One of our side trips was to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. I can’t find any pictures I took of the church, but here is a view from the patio:

Glad you like my blog. Isn’t Utah gorgeous? We have been there 2 times on vacation and went to Bryce Canon and Zion Nat Park, and painted some (oil) plein airs there!

I’ve never been to Utah, but pictures I’ve seen have red rocks similar to Sedona.
