I would like a calendar with the images of those 50 photographs. They were stunning and soul-stirring, reminding me of our shared humanity and residence on this planet. I enjoyed all of this week’s pictures. including illustrations that looked real. Thanks.

You know you can make your own through a company like Shutterfly or Walgreen’s, don’t you? Right-click on the photos you like, and save them to your computer. Then set up an account on Shutterfly or Walgreen’s, upload the photos, and follow the directions for making the calendar of your choice. It’s pricey, but it’s custom. You just can’t sell it, because technically you don’t own the photographs. But it’s permissible for your own personal use.

The cockatoo, the woodpecker, and the pigeon! We have a lot of pigeons around here, but I’ve never seen a baby. Now I know why–they’re so ugly their parents hide them!
