I’ve been thinking of this place recently. It’s been years since I’ve gone. It’s been on my mind as I’ve craved peace in this crazy world lately. Maybe I’ll get there soon.
They are open, and there’s plenty of room that you can keep 6 feet away from people. It would be a good, quiet place to get away for an hour or two, where you can listen to God’s still voice.
This is one of my favorite places! The walking path and setting for these sculpture is also beautiful. Long ago, I talked with one of the Lutheran sisters who lives there, and we reflected on how the area climate, trees, bushes and terrain share so much in common with the true Land of Canaan in Israel. As our Phoenix weather permits, it is a perfect place to go, walk and pray. Hope you send this out again as a reminder in October when it begins to cool down. Thanks for posting it!
