I took this picture March 28 in our neighborhood. I agree that the leaves look a little crocusy, but can we even grow crocuses in the Phoenix area? According to AccuWeather, the temperature was 70 after three days of 77. Wouldn’t that be a little warm for crocuses?
You need freezing temps for crocus (throughout the winter) and they typically pop up before the grass turns green. That is why don’t think they are. Their leaves look like tulips or lilies that is why I said that.
I think they might be crocuses.They are grown from bulbs and are often the first bulbs to bloom.

Linda is right that they are bulbs. I’m thinking some kind of minature lily, but I really have no clue.
