I would hate to be their neighbors. I have neighbors with three wind chimes hanging in their back yard & as Buffalo is a very windy city, it sounds like demented fairyland back there. It also disturbs my sleep. I passionately hate wind chimes.
I have one set of pentatonic wind chimes and I absolutely love them. If there is no breeze, I go out there and ring them so I can hear them. I’m always surprised when people say they hate them. Does. Not. Compute.
