Andrea R Huelsenbeck is a wife, a mother of five and a former elementary general music teacher. A freelance writer in the 1990s, her nonfiction articles and book reviews appeared in Raising Arizona Kids, Christian Library Journal, and other publications. She is currently working on a young adult mystical fantasy novel and a mystery.

    • When I was in college, I worked in the music department library. We had not only books, but sheet music. I learned so much about repertoire just from reshelving the music. I didn’t realize how much I’d learned until a flute player asked me to make a recommendation for her next piece to learn, and I was able to. Working in the library was such a good experience that for a while I considered getting another degree–in library science.
