And I really loved the article about the jewelry — I have been sorting through jewelry from an aunt who bought a lot of gemstones by mail order over the years, and I had no idea if they were worth more now than what she paid for them in the 1980s (usually less than $20 each). Now I don’t have to be anguished over what to do with them!

Me too. And they don’t take up much room, and we already have them, so it’s not like we’re spending money that could be better spent elsewhere. I do like the Christmas tree idea, but I also have some just pinned to a piece of linen in an embroidery hoop, hanging up where I can enjoy them every day.
