OctPoWriMo2021 Day 21: What it Takes to Write a Poem

Standard

The prompt is discipline. The form is acrostic.

What it Takes to Write a Poem

Daring
Intentions and aspirations, requiring keeping
Seat (butt) in
Chair (Sit. Stay.)
Intent on
Poetic devices, rhyme and meter, concentration for
Long hours devoid of any joy
I accept there will be
No reward without
Effort
