A varied selection this week.
- Breathtaking landscape quilts from the International Quilt Show.
- Award-winning wildlife photos.
- In high school, Richard Feynman (the famous physicist) met the girl he knew he wanted to marry. Unfortunately, their marriage was short. Read their love story.
- Really cool murals.
- When it comes to writing advice, one size does not fit all.
- Are there books you read again and again? Want to add more of them to your list?
- Make your own holiday cards.
- Where art and fashion collide.
- I am a great phonics proponent, but the debate on how best to teach children to read isn’t over yet.
- In case you didn’t see it on ARHtistic License’s Facebook page, here’s the December issue of Drawing Attention, an online magazine put out by Urban Sketchers. This is best viewed fullscreen–click the broken square in the lower right-hand corner. (By the way, you can follow ARHtistic License on Facebook for even more creative content.)
- Beautiful holiday table! And to see more, click the links for the blog hop.
- A list of recommended Christmas books.
Thanks for including me in this week’s lineup! XO

That was wonderful! But you know, I thought it was going to go a different, darker direction. It may have sparked a short story for me.
I have this unicorn book I’ve been working on for almost 30 years, inspired by the Unicorn Tapestries in the Met Cloisters. One character is a docent who is really a ghost. . .
