Creative Juice #340

Quilts and poems and lots of artistic and creative endeavors.

  • I wanted to write an article about Giacomo Puccini, but while researching I read this—and I can’t improve upon it. So read this—this is what I would have striven to write, if I could have.
  • Beautiful mushrooms.
  • A nice collection of favorite poems.
  • Quilt show.
  • Beautiful quilts by Nanette Chopin Cook.
  • Poems written by prisoners. I’ve only read a few from the current anthology, but they touch my heart and I will read them all. This is a worthwhile project.
  • Cute photos of running dogs.
  • Do you like to photograph and identify flora and fauna you find in the wild? If so, this article may be of interest to you. Read all the way to the end.
  • Quilting retreat.
  • How much do you know about Frida Kahlo? If you take the quiz, tell me your score in the comments below. All right, I’ll tell you—I got 8/16. You’re probably going to beat me.
  • A daily embroidery project.
  • Children’s book illustrator Sawyer Cloud tells about her process and her journey.
