    • Thanks, Linda–I am glad to know the tree’s identity! I often pass it when I’m out walking in the neighborhood.
      When we lived in New Jersey, we had a mimosa tree in the front yard. It was much bigger than the little fairy duster tree, and the feathery flowers were white edged in pink.
